Labs are drawn . .

I talked to Codi last night about 9:30 and they had drawn the labs, and he had to wait 1 hour to eat. So, as far as I know, Andrew was able to eat!! Today will be the scan, and then maybe a couple of nights at home before surgery (if needed). I'm sure Codi will post much more info this morning. Continue to pray for clear test results and wisdom.

p.s. . .eventhough it went against my better judgment, I made Andrew's blog reflect his love for the St. Louis Cardinals :)

Hello from Senegal! We're praying here, too. We're covering the gap that's left when you guys (Texans) go to sleep.

Wes, Codi, and Andrew, we're praying for you.

I was GOING to say, it's obvious that Kristi didn't choose the background for THIS blog, but I was wrong. I stand corrected!

And to you Andrew, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the new background for the blog! (Dorothea said this, not Jason.)

Thanks for the blog--it's nice for us, because we can't always call due to the 5 hour time difference.

Andrew, add some Tex-Mex to your order, and eat it for us!

Praying in Senegal,
Jason, Dorothea, Janet, Jacqueline, and Jacob Lee

This blog is great!

Andrew, so glad that the labs have been drawn and you are getting to eat now! My kids would be screaming, "chicken tenders!".

We have all been praying for you guys.

Hope you all have a good relaxing, tummy full of good stuff day!

Jennifer Clary and family.

Hey Freeman family, just know that we are praying for all of you, especially you Andrew! You hang in there kid!! Before you know it, you will be back cheering for that other team (just can't say that word c-a-r-d...you know).

May God give you all PEACE and UNDERSTANDING but most of all LOVE!!

Wes and Codi, I'm sure you have lots of offers for assistance, just add our names to list if you guys need anything please call.

We are praying continually for all of you.

Love,
David, Vicki, Tori and Denton

Good to hear that food is now an option! I just hope that no one got their hands too close when it was served, or I'm sure there are some additional bandages around. We're praying for ya'll (get used to THAT word!) and for good test results. If Andrew gets to come home, do we need to, like, have a massive barbeque or something like that? Seems like a good reason to fire up some charcoal and slay the fatted calf or a ribeye or two. As what David has said, make sure we're on the 'list' if there is something needed. Andrew, if you're food catches fire enroute to your mouth, then you might need to slow down a bit. Friction on re-entry is tough in this climate. Later! Tom, Teresa, and Tommy

Andrew,
It's great to hear that they finally got to pull the labs for you and that you've gotten to fill the belly. We are praying for you and your family.
Wes & Codi, if you have any trouble with Rebel scum while at TCH let the Rickard family know and we'll send over a detachment of Imperial troops to take care of it.
May the Force be with you!

Love y'all,
Chuck, Kerry, Hunter, Christian, and Jayden

Yay for food!! I am eating thin mints right now and thinking how they probably taste much better to you than me right now. :-)

I am ashamed to call you my sister, Kristi. :-P Just kidding...I guess I can deal with the blog layout...

Hello Freeman Family,

I hope they fed Andrew very well after starving him so long! The Wilson family and the KBC crew have all been in prayer for you, and we will continue to pray.

What a surprise to open the blog and see the "new" look. Maybe I can pretend it stands for the Lamar University Cardnials (Kristi, I know it took LOTS of strength to force yourself to do this, but Christian love overcomes all!!!)

Just know Harry and I have been praying for each of you and also the doctors and nurses who tend to you, Andrew.

I hope you didn't get a tummy ache from eating so quickly.

We love y'all and hope you get to come home soon.

OOPS! I guess I flunk spelling today (forgot to check my spelling, but since it was just CARDINALS that I missed w-e-l-l, I guess it's o.k.)

Hope you were able to have a good breakfast.

Andrew, I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that my 1st/2nd period class sends you their well wishes and well as sends up prayers on your behalf. We pray for you every morning during our moment of silence. You know two of my students, Denton Lucas and Kyle Smith. Denton says he will see you soon to play Wii.

Hang in there and keep leaning on God and we will keep lifting you and your family up in prayer.

Love in Christ,
Susanne Mason
and Students
